What is the cause of my increased insulin level?
Q: I am a 25 years old man and my insulin level has increased. Is it because of diabetes? My body weight is also increasing. I have gone through insulin test and the result shows elevated level. Please advise.
A:Excess body weight cause higher insulin levels. High insulin is due to the insulin becoming ineffective and later due to excessive load on pancreas you tend to develop diabetes. The best way to deal with it is to reduce weight by exercise (30 min of walk) and dietary changes.
