What is I-lasik surgery?
Q: I am a 24 years old boy having myopia. I came to know about I-lasik surgery recently. I believe it has fewer adverse effects than lasik surgery. Could you please tell me more about it?
A:I-lasik is the most advanced technique of laser vision correction, and as it does not use blade for creating corneal flap, it is better then the traditional laser vision correction technique. Cost of Surgery - The charges for the surgery depend upon the policy of the respective eye care centre but are approximately around Rs. 90,000/- for both the eyes. Presently I-lasik procedure is not available in Mumbai. And in Delhi, I-lasik procedure is available at Centre for Sight, pioneers in this technology and the first to introduce I-lasik in India and South East Asia.
