Q: Is there any solution for Neurofibromatosis NF1 & nf2?

A:There is no permanent solution for the entire complex of NF1 and NF2. The lesions that are symptomatic will need to be tackled. At the same time, a close follow up is required to monitor the presence or development of intrcranial or intra spinal neurofibromas, acoustic schwanoma or rarely optic nerve gliomas. Also since these are genetically tranmitted, it is advisable to have genetic counselling while planning your family.
