Q: I have a severe pain in my right side of neck. it is like somthing is pulling inside. It starts any time even sitting on the office chair. x-ray was ok, advised by an ENT & former proffessor of gmc ,Guwahati.

A:There could be a number of possible causes, the most likely being a muscular pain due to the neck muscles. However, the information is too limited tomake a definitive disgnosis and one would definitely need to examine youbefore a decision could be made. I would suggest that you should consult(preferably) a rheumatologist, or an orthopaedic surgeon, for this purpose.
