Kidney stone
Q: I have a small kidney stone. My doctor had advised me to take 4 cystone tablets daily. How long should I continue? Incidentally, my brother also suffers from the same problem.
A:You need to undergo intravenous pyelography if it has not been done earlier. Your brother also has a stone therefore, metabolic work-up should be done and also any familiar cause for pre-disposition for stone formation should be looked into. Taking cystone is not going to help you anyway and we do not recommend. However, plenty of water to the tune of 12 glasses a day is more appropriate for you. You should see urologist for the further advise.
