Q: I am looking for a health/medical insurance policy for my family but most mediclaim policies cover costs only in case of hospitalisation. Is there any scheme which also takes care of possible OPD treatable conditions?

A:There is no retail policy in India currently in my knowledge which offer OPD benefits. The private insurance [players are now starting to introduce product innovations but offering an OPD benefit still seems some time away.
