Is slight blood discharge during pregnancy normal?
Q: I am a 25 years old female into my second month of pregnancy. I had a white discharge with slight blood lately because of strain. Is it harmful for my baby?
A:Slight bleeding / blood stained discharge is not uncommon in early pregnancy. While the cause cannot always be identified, it is certainly not because of strain / stress. Although this is common, it cannot be considered normal. This bleeding does however, settle down spontaneously without any treatment.
