How to skip periods?
Q: I am 28 years old, married 4 months ago. For a religious function, I want to avoid periods. The expected date of the next periods is next week and the function is 3 days after that. Is it safe to take pills for the same and if so please suggest what to take? Conception is not ruled out & so these pills should not disturb the same. Please advise.
A:It is possible to not have a period if you don't want to, but you need to plan ahead. If you are already on the pill, you can skip the last week and start the next pack. You will avoid the period. If you are not on the pill, it is difficult to manipulate your hormone system within such a short period of time. Could you already be pregnant? If so pills taken now can be dangerous.
