How to manage problems with ovulation?
Q: My sister is trying for her first baby. Her medical tests have shown that there's some problem with the ovulation process. The hormones which facilitate ovulation are not getting generated in amounts necessary so the ovulation is not there. She is currently taking medication to generate the cycle and her tests are due next month. Can you please suggest how long this treatment is likely to take and what alternatives are available for her to conceive?
A:Pregnancy depends on normalcy of all the factors within her and her husband. However, if she does not get pregnant in a few cycles she may need to take injectable gonadotropins to ovulate and facilitate pregnancy.
