How to manage infertility due to follicles not growing?
Q: My wife didn't conceive even after three and a half years of marriage. Now when we consulted the gynaecologist here, she is telling follicles are not forming in her body due to hormonal imbalance in her body. What could be the cause for follicles not getting formed in her body? What can be the immediate remedy for this? Is this a serious issue? What are the chances of conceiving?
A:If the problem is only of follicles not growing, medicines or gonadotrophin injections shall help. Go to a good infertility specialist and you would get the right advice. This is not a big problem and can be sorted out. Get other factors like the fallopian tubes (of your wife) and your (husbands) semen also investigated meanwhile.
