How to deal with extreme pain after extracting a wisdom tooth?

Q: I had my wisdom tooth surgically operated but after a few days of that I had unbearable pain . I was given augmentin 375 mg and combiflam and crocin but still there is pain. I am working in a call centre and it will be difficult for me to talk to customers. Can you advise on how I should go about coping with this kind of pain.

A:I am sorry to say that you are only reason for your pain and problems. The first thing is you have to stop smoking at all. If you do not you may continue suffering and no medicine will help. The regular heat and products of tobacco do not allow healing more over already inflamed tissue may overreact to the effect of smoking and in near future you may have further problems including severe infection bone necrosis and so on. Therefore please stop smoking and get yourself evaluated for dry socket from another dentist. In order to fulfil my obligation to you, I must once again remind you that smoking is injurious to yours and your family health.
