How should my daughter improve herself in studies?

Q: I have a 12 years old daughter who reads in class 5. She is very good in dancing and actively partcipates in any event that gets organised in my flat complex. She possesses a special ability in that she can tell about a person just by watching him or her. Several times, we have observed that what she narrates matches in more than 90 percent of the cases. The only problem is that she is not paying attention to her studies. She is very poor in maths. She avoids writing. She lies in such a way that no one can ever doubt. What should I do help her improve in studies? (she is very chanchal as they say in Hindi)

A:You should be happy to have a talented child. Get the help of her teachers and friends to show her that it is important to develop in all ways. Give up the idea that she is chanchal and treat her in a more friendly manner. She herself must realize that her school career is also important. This task needs patience, warmth and understanding on her part and yours.
