How does an incomplete abortion occur?
Q: How does an incomplete abortion happen? What are its signs and symptoms? What follow up should be done?
A:If a patient has spontaneous abortion, then a part of the fetus or products of conception may remain behind, then it is incomplete abortion. The patient will have excessive bleeding and pain in abdomen. Routine blood investigation is done. Patient will have to undergo D & C and is then is called for check - up after 10 days.
