How can uterus prolapse be treated?
Q: I am a 28 years old woman diagnosed with two-degree uterine prolapse. I am 5 months pregnant with my second child. Will my prolapse recur after my second delivery? My height is 5 feet and weight is 75 kg and has a 6-year-old son. What are the precautions to be taken and what is the treatment for my condition?
A:You are overweight. Take proper nutrition but keep the weight under control by doing perineal exercises, walking and yoga. Avoid lifting heavy weights; do not strain; do not sit on the floor; avoid constipation. Prolapse can get worse with repeated deliveries. After delivery, you should undergo prolapse repair.
