How can I get rid of pterygium?
Q: I am suffering from pterygium in my right eye since two years. I want to know whether it is possible to remove it with medicine. If yes, then what are the medicines?
A:There are no drugs/ eye drops available that can remove a pterygium. If the pterygium is growing, it is best to undergo surgical removal of the pterygium, and combine it with a conjunctival auto graft (to minimise recurrence). This procedure has given fairly good results.
