How can diabetics improve their strength?
Q: What to do to get strength in diabetic patients?
A:Main cause of weakness is poor blood glucose control because hyperglycaemia causes breakdown of fat and sometimes even muscles, if not controlled. Some patients are overenthusiastic and take less meal and medications and they may feel weak due to blood glucose on lower side. Therefore, both poorly controlled and overly controlled glucose levels can cause weakness. Other reasons may be related to complications like heart, kidney or nerve/muscle involvement. Please note the supplements will not give you the strength but knowing the cause of weakness and its correction will.
