How can burning sensation be managed?

Q: I am a 25 years old male suffering from burning sensation for the last three years. My tongue is whitish with a coating. When I consulted a doctor, he gave me vitamin capsules for the same. I am tired of taking vitamin capsules and have seen no progress. If I sit on a chair I feel that my back and bottom are burning severely and if someone holds my hand or touches my body I feel severe burning sensation and even while I sleep I feel the same. I had sore throat and I took more antibiotics without doctor’s advice for a while and I am not sure if this is the problem. I was depressed that something might happen to me and kept thinking about it the whole day. How can my burning sensation be managed?

A:Kindly check the following - haemogram, blood sugar, serum calcium, magnesium, vitamin b12, 25 hydroxy, vitamin D3 levels, stool routine, thyroid profile, alkaline phosphatase, creatinine and uric acid levels.

You can do a specialised test called nerve conduction velocities. Ask a psychologist to assess your symptoms of anxiety and depression. Take a balanced diet and start exercising.
