Eye blinking
Q: Dear Doctor my son aged 13 years is suffering from frequent involountary eye blinking(mostly right eye -right corner). We have consulted a neuro physician. He has suggested for EEG and report is normal. He referred to a Phyciatrist for opinion. Phyciatrist opined thatmy son is having cronic Tic and does not require anymedicine now. ADvised us to wait and see. We have shown this report to Neurophysician, he also advised towait and see. Dr what is this Cronic Tic? Is there any medicine for this. What is your advise.
A:Kindly get an eye check up for refractive error, allergic conjunctivitits,dry eye, foreiegn body on cornea which can lead to frequent blinking.
