Does watching TV for long cause harm to the eyes?
Q: I am a 24 years old male. My job involves working on the computer for 8-9 hours. I watch TV for long hours and also read a lot. I get up at 6:30 in the morning. My left eye has got some swelling recently. Is it because of TV or computer?
A:There is no harm in using your eyes for TV or computer for a long time except for tiredness but swelling of the eyes may just be due to allergy or infection. You must see an eye specialist or optometrist to have your eyes and/or vision checked to know the precise reason.
