Does posterior placenta indicate a c-section delivery?
Q: I am a 22 years old female into my 29th week of pregnancy. My placenta is said to be posterior. Does the position of placenta indicate a caesarean delivery and will the position of the placenta change in future?
A:A posterior placenta does not indicate whether your delivery would be caesarean or not unless it is a low placenta covering the os. If it is low, it may move upwards as the pregnancy grows.
