Does a healthy diet improve the eyesight?
Q: My 6 years old daughter has been prescribed spectacles with specifications as distance spherical -0.75 and cylindrical -1.25. The doctor said that there is more problem with the right eye i.e. 6/18 an the left one is 6/9. Does wearing spectacles and following a healthy diet improve the eyesight?
A:The patient should wear glasses all the time and get routine check up every six months. Giving a healthy balanced diet including green vegetables, fruits etc. is good for the eyes through may not help in removal of glasses.
