Does a diabetic face problems in conceiving?
Q: I am a 36 years old female diagnosed with diabetes three years ago. My husband and I have been trying for conception for quite some time but without any results. Is it because of my diabetes?
A:Your diabetes should be very well controlled before planning your pregnancy. The Glycosylated Hb should be < 6 percent to be safe regarding conception. If you still don't conceive, take the help of an infertility specialist.
