Do I need to take Letrofil and Glycomet tablets?
Q: I got married 1.7 years ago and have had two miscarriages since then. The first one happened just two days after I got to know about my pregnancy. I had to go for an abortion the second time as the embryo had stopped growing after six weeks. Before marriage I used to have irregular periods. I underwent all tests suggested by my doctor, but all were normal. However, my doctor told me that I am suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome and put me on Glycomet. I am unable to take three tablets a day, so I am taking only two tablets a day. My doctor has also advised me to take Letrofil. Is it safe for me to take Letrofil? What are my chances of conception?
A:It is safe for you to take Letrofil, and taking Glycomet is also a good option in case the abortion was due to high insulin levels.
