Can ptosis be corrected completely?

Q: I am a 23 years old girl having ptosis since birth called MGJWS. Can it be corrected completely? If operation is the only option then what is the success rate?

A:Marcus Gunn Jaw Wrinkling syndrome and ptosis are due to aberrant neuronal connections. Surgery usually involves both eyes, and though the abnormal movement of the lids while moving the jaws gets corrected well, the overall cosmetic results are only moderately good.
