Can I use Dexona and Menabol for body building?
Q: I am 22 years old male. I like working out extensively and have tried steroids over the years. In the past, I have tried out Decadurabolin and Neurabol once (the course lasted 2 months). This time I was going to try a combination of Dexona and Menabol. I know that every steroid has its side effects and have checked them out over the net. These drugs are regularly being abused by bodybuilders. I wanted to know the long term consequences of the use of these drugs? Dexona is used as an anti-allergic drug, so is it useful for body building purposes?
A:Dexona is the brand name of a medicine called dexamethasone. It has nothing to do with body building. Its side effects include: fluid retention, gastro-intestinal, eye, brain and cardiac disorders, development of diabetes etc. etc. Using this drug meant for emergency therapy in allergy, shock, etc; without medical prescription and supervision it can lead to serious health problems. Menobal is the brand name of stanozol. It can lead to oedema (retention of water in the body leading to high BP, heart failure etc), rashes, liver damage, dyspepsia, cramps, headache etc. Using it without medical prescription and supervision can lead to long term serious consequences including diabetes.
