Will a patient of depression and parkinson's disease be covered under mediclaim policy?
Q: One of my employees is dignosed as a patient of depression, stage II and parkinson's stage II. Will this case be covered under mediclaim for medication or hospitalisation if required?
A:Any illness, including psychiatric, if requiring hospitalisation is covered under Mediclaim policy (subject to specified exclusions). If your employee has depression stage II / Parkinsons stage II , it shall be payable in case of a condition necessitating hospitalisation.
