Why is my child struggling with Maths?
Q: My daughter is 8 years old and studying in class III. She was very good in Maths in the previous classes but now she is jumbling with Maths problems like division, carryover, etc. How do I help her deal with this?
A:Many children find division difficult, because they are not sure of place value. Just ask her teacher to revise the fundamental principles of division. If you show her one or two examples of division with actual objects, like pebbles, stones or blocks she will understand. Make sure she enjoys Maths as it is a lot of fun.
