Why I am getting stomach pain after meals?
Q: I am a 28 years old man having a gastric problem. I get stomach pain after meals, which lasts for sometime. I am not getting any vomiting sensation and my daily routine is also fine. I get very good sleep too. But I feel uncomfortable in my stomach mainly on the right side. I usually avoid oily food and take meals at regular time – breakfast at 7:30 am, lunch at 12:30 pm and dinner at 7:30 pm; in between I take some snacks at 5:00 pm. Is this a symptom of kidney stones? What is the problem with me? Please advise.
A:From your symptoms, it appears that you are suffering from acid-peptic disease. I note that you particularly get pain in stomach following food. Otherwise, it appears that you lead a healthy life-style. Some measures that you can follow for you stomach problem are as follows:
- Avoid spicy and oily food
- Take small frequent meals. Do not over eat.
- Do not lie down within one hour of meals.
- You can use some antacid tablets SOS.
- If symptoms persist, then you should get some tests such as ultrasound abdomen and endoscopy.
Both my kidney had stone, got it removed from one,but i don't want another operation.
