Why does my daughter refuse to eat?
Q: My 13 months old daughter refuses to eat most of the times. She does open her mouth whenever we try to feed her but then she spits out the food most of the time. This is happening with almost all the solid foods. However she is consuming milk and curd. Please suggest.
A:If you substitute food with milk your child will never eat properly and matters will only get worse.
You must encourage her to eat the food that is cooked for the family and give her milk only twice a day and that too without a bottle, in a glass or a sipper. If she refuses food leave her alone. Missing a meal will make her hungry and she will slowly start eating.
