Why does my daughter get frequent eye infections?
Q: My 11 years old daughter is suffering from eye infection frequently for the last 6 months. She has got pimples on the upper and lower eyelids. The doctor gave her antibiotics but they give temporary relief. Infection is still there. She is having tonsils too; her ASO is 400. Please suggest a permanent cure.
A:It is quite likely that she needs glasses. If she does not see properly, her eyes get tired and she rubs her eyes. When she rubs her eyes, she gets infection in her eyelids. Then one infection leads to neighbouring areas to be infected.
More over she should improve her general health by having balanced food, exercises and good light to study with. Her immunity is low which needs to be strengthened.
