Why do I sneeze so frequently?

Q: I am 40 years old married male. When I am with people I begin to sneeze and display cold like symptoms and this increases in an air-conditioned room. The problem flares up when I have sex resulting in the partner getting sneezes. The problem also goes up when I smoke or wash my hair though with a few antibiotics the problem goes off. Other people are getting affected due to my problem. I had a throat swab done which showed beta haemolytic streptococcus, could this be the reason? I am afraid is this some form of tuberculosis? There are no problems otherwise, I am normal - no weight loss, no phlegm etc. I have had nasal polyps removed from my maxilarry sinus and tonsillectomy some 12 years back and my TLC & DLC are normal. What course of action should I take?

A:You have a tendency to develop congestion in the nose due to engorgement of the blood vessels, a type of reactive rhinitis, which is provoked by the acts you mentioned. Just be confident, you have no serious illness and there is nothing like TB or other things. Use a simple nasal drop if the symptoms persist.
