Kidney transplantation in India is governed by Transplantation of Human Organ Act and as per this act, parents, siblings, spouse, children 18 years and above can donate a kidney if medically found fit to donate a kidney to their related patient. Buying and selling of kidney is not allowed under this act. So you should explore the feasibility of a donor in the family.
