What should a kidney failure patient eat?
Q: What is the diet for a kidney failure patient?
A:Your diet should consist of unlimited carbohydrate, protein of 20 grams of first class variety, such as all non-vegetarian foods, milk, cheese and daal. Eat low-fat diet. You can eat all cooked vegetables, nuts, one fruit a day or one serving of salad. Cold drinks, chocolates, chocolate drinks, coconut water and dried foods are banned. Tea and coffee can be taken within normal limit. Sweets can be unlimited if you are not a diabetic.
