What is the age limit for haemodialysis?
Q: Is there any age limit to undergo haemodialysis? My uncle is 75 years old and is undergoing dialysis. How far can dialysis help him?
A:There is no age limit to undergo haemodialysis. He needs assessment of his heart function by echocardiography. If his kidney function is less than 10-15% and irreversibly damaged then dialysis should help him feel better.
