What is hypoplasticity of the blood vessels?
Q: I am a 26 years old woman who has been diagnosed with hypo-plasticity of blood vessels four years back. What is hypoplasticity? Is it a serious problem?
A:The hypoplastic blood vessels are a variant that most often do not have any serious significance. The term hypoplastic only means that the size of the blood vessel in question is relatively smaller in relation to population norm. However the hypoplasticity should be viewed along with the total clinical picture, and the symptoms that patient has will influence the further investigations and management.
