A:You should take 35 kcal/kg ideal body weight. Your weight of 45 kg is low for you. If you are on dialysis you should have 1.2 gms of protein/kg of ideal weight. 50% of these should be good quality proteins. Your ideal body weight should be 64 kgs. If you are not on dialysis then have 0.6 to 0.8 gm/kg of proteins per day. 50% should be good quality proteins. Keep salt and potassium low.
