Newborn - formula feed

Q: My child is one month old and he is not taking lactogen-1 milk for last two days and continuously crying since my milk is not sufficient. I have a doubt that Lactogen-1 is not suitable. Can you please give your suggstion.

A:Many breast fed babies refuse bottle feeds. Try frequent breast feeding - this will also help to increase the amount of breast milk being produced. Inspite of frequent feeds if the baby is hungry and refuses a bottle feed, try feeding with a cup and spoon. Use any formula milk- Lactogen I is fine.
