Nerve deafness

Q: I am 65 years old. I have moderate nerve deafness in both ears. I have also tinnitus in left ear and as a result, hearing is better in right ear. Doctors advise me to have hearing aid. Should I have hearing aid for the left ear or right or both ?

A:Ideally, depending on the affordability, you should have a hearing aid in both ears. The aid also helps to mask your tinnitus by an increased surrounding sounds.
