Q: After donating kidney, is there any restriction to your physical activities? For instance, can you lift the heavy weights?
A:It is not clear from your question whether you have already donated your kidney. If you have then how was this surgery carried out. If this was done by laparoscopic method, then you need very little restriction in physical activity. However if you have had a full open surgery usually major physical activity and straining should be avoided for six weeks.
