Q: My son aged 14 had given Hepatitis vaccination three dozes about 5 years back. His fourth doze is due in the month of January, 2003. Is it necessary to give fourth doze next month? I consulted a physician he advised that three doze is sufficient. Please give your valuable advise.

A:Three doses of Hepatitis B vaccine are sufficient to give lifetime immunity against that disease. You do not need the 4th dose.
