Is there any financial aid for kidney transplantation?

Q: Like cancer, is there any financial aid for kidney transplantation? One of my relatives (age 50 or above) is suffering from renal failure for the past one year. Following different types of advice from different people, all their savings got exhausted without any fruitful result. Now he has to undergo dialysis every alternate day. Due to mounting financial crisis dialysis is not properly done. Of late his body has become stiff. Is there any chance of survival? He suffered from two major heart attacks a few years back. I would like to request you to provide me with every possible details regarding this issue.

A:Kidney transplantation is the best and the most chronic cost effective treatment for kidney failure. In most states, Chief ministers funds provide variable amount of money provided to recipients of kidney transplant. However, after transplantation a patient requires life long medicines costing Rs. 8000 to Rs. 15,000 per month. I am not aware of any long term assistance to transplant patient by any organisation in the country.
