A:Neuropathic pain is not easy to treat and therefore a variety of options are generally attempted. No single method is universally superior. Lignocaine infusion similarly may be quite useful but its effects have a variable effect in terms of effectiveness and duration. Sugars must of course be well controlled. Other modalities of treatment include drugs like antidepressants, duloxetin, gabapentin or pregablin.
