Is it safe to use progressive lenses for computer use?
Q: I have a problem in reading and at workplace, where I am exposed to the computer. I was advised bifocal spectacles. This was giving me problems while working in the office, therefore I am using a progressive lens/spectacles. Will this affect the eyes or the vision?
A:Progressive lenses are the best lenses for office computer use for anyone above 40 years of age who has power for both distance and near. These do not harm the eyes or vision in any way.
