Is it okay to jog on a hard surface?
Q: Is it harmful to jog on a hard surface even with a good pair of shoes? I am 19 years old and run 2 km, four days a week.
A:As long as your shoes have adequate padding, cushioning and well heeled soles in your shoes, and you have not encountered any problems, you should be ok. If you do have a history of joint pain then as a preventive, you could choose to run on a soft surface.
