Is it necessary to remove a non-functional kidney?
Q: My diabetic mother has a non functional right kidney. Is it necessary to remove it? What will be the effects if my mother doesn't get it removed? She is taking turbovas, glycomet, diatal and some other medicines. Please suggest some vegetables, which will help her in this situation.
A:Your mother has diabetes and her right kidney is not functioning. The chances of its getting infected and serious complications of infections occurring is high. There are no vegetables which will make a kidney function. If the other kidney is normal and this kidney is not functioning at all, then it is better to remove the kidney.
