Q: I have a son who is 3 years old. He is very fond of blue color and wants every thing in blue like clothes, shoes, pen, cycle, etc. One day he even said that he wants blue Horlicks. My question is if there is anything to worry about or is it just a matter of time. Please explain.

A:There is absolutely nothing wrong with your child. Colour preferences at this young an age do not mean anything and being fond of a particular colour does not make your child unusual or dysfunctional in any way. Relax and let him revel in his own choices.
