How to treat wounds on the face?
Q: I had a recent fall and suffered a deep wound on my face, specifically to the right side. The doctor applied a liquid called Epiglue 2 drops, and told me that this would ensure that a scar is not left after the wound has healed. Is this true?? I would like to know if I need to do anything else to prevent a scar or a keloid formation?
A:Epiglue seals the wound and so avoid sutures. If a scar is left you can always get it revised by a plastic surgeon after three months.
