Q: I am high blood pressure patient. Generaly my blood pressure stands 90-130 mm hg, after taken medicine. I have taken medicine-losacar 25 at morning 900hrs and atorva at night at 2200hrs. I feel since last few days after taken atorva my back pain started. Last three days I have not taken any medicine, that time my blood pressure soots up 108-150mmhg. I am 41yrs old,ht164cm,wt70kg, I am non vegetarian but egg&red meet totaly stop.only fish &chicken taken offently. During lipid profile test-s.cholesterol-171mg.,s.triglycride-221mg,shdl-38,sldl-89,svldl-44,sgpt-25 are found.two times TMT & ECG test has bee carried out but it was found o.k., one doctor precriped me for lipicard tabalate but i have not taken. I am working in shift please help & advice me.

A:Since hyperlipedemia and hypertension when present together are more problemetical than when presentseperately. The most important management is an ideal lifestyle with drugs added as per need for both hypertension as well as increased serum lipids. He should be in regular contact with his treating physician.
