Q: I had done my Lipid test and it results that my triglycerides are 264 and also the cholesterol levels are elevated ..Ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis reported that I have a grade 1. Fatty liver infiltration....What could be my diet and exercise to reduce Triglycerides levels and reverse to normal liver...? Thank you,

A:Reduce saturated fats and trans fats. Use healthy mono- and polyunsaturated fats. Get most of your calories from fruits, vegetables, and non-fat or low-fat dairy products. Drink alcohol only in moderation. Avoid added and refined sugars.
