Q: I am 36 years old male suffering from left drum damage for the last 2 years. Despite taking antibiotic medicines for a long time, there has been no relief. Now, I am also suffering from swelling in the throat, which irritates me a lot. Is this swelling because of an ENT infection or some other disease?

A:If you have hearing problem and the drum is damaged, then you need to get the drum repaired. Regarding the throat problem, you should keep the throat well lubricated with constant gargling with warm water and avoid spices and other hot things.
